It should come as no surprise that ICE (International Charter Expo) is one of the biggest events in the industry. With over 2500 participants from all over the world and 500+ companies attending, this B2B event is notorious for being a meeting point for yacht suppliers, charter companies, charter brokers and all-things marine related.

ICE started its first event edition in Opatija, Croatia, in 2015 with 290 different companies attending. It hosted a new event every year prior to 2019, launching digital attendance events in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

The Yachtmaster group, founders of ICE, have at its core mission to strengthen business relationships amongst the yachting industry - focusing solely in B2B performance. They also launched a meeting software where you can book meetings before arriving with ease, the "Handshake" software. You can have these meetings on your booth of choice, or in many of the evening events organised by the group.

As the cherry on top, ICE also has their annual magazine edition, "Icebreaker" where attendees can not only advertise, but also volunteer to create articles to be featured on the magazine.

So, why are we going? ICE and the Yachtmaster group provide a massive leverage for anyone in the industry to see and be seen - and create one of the most important aspects within sales; the relationships.

And if ICE wasn't enough, the Yachtmaster group also launched the Charter Meetup in Athens in April, dedicated for Greek fleet operators, brokers, agencies and other suppliers, in a format of speed dating concept.

One of the biggest focus of ICE and the Yachtmaster group is the development of digital solutions for the industry; something that is and will be happening and evolving in the next few years.
