Challenges before using Floatist

Sailme Charter wanted to reduce the routine tasks involved in managing their fleet and streamline the check-in process for both staff and guests. Before adopting Floatist, Sailme Charter had used Sailsense, a boat monitoring system with an added checklist feature. However, the lack of customization and frequent technical problems made it unsuitable for their needs. Sailme Charter experienced several weekends where the system was unusable, impacting their business operations.

How Floatist helped solve Sailme Charter’s Challenges

Important information is available within the Floatist app, allowing customers to handle much of the check-in themselves, and the time spent with an employee for the final explanations is decreased significantly.
  • Positive Customer Feedback: “We got many, many feedbacks from our clients that it is a super smart system,” Sailme Charter reported. Guests appreciate the clarity of the app and its convenience, making their charter experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Sailme Charter particularly values the itemized checklist feature, which provides detailed explanations, pictures, and instructions for each yacht. This allows guests to better understand the systems on board and minimizes staff involvement in routine explanations.
