This year, International Charter Expo 2026 teamed up with Floatist to bring a dedicated area for marine startups to the biggest B2B yacht charter event in Europe. The partnership aims to give young startups a chance to present themselves to a wide range of players in the boat charter industry without a big budget.
ICE Amsterdam 2026 takes place from November 11 to 13 at EXPO Greater Amsterdam and features over 600 exhibitors. Last year alone, more than 25,000 meetings were scheduled in advance using the Handshake app, giving attendees an easy and unintrusive way of finding partnerships and talking directly with their target group.
What Is the Start-Up Corner at ICE’26?
The Floatist x ICE Start-Up Corner is a dedicated area within the International Charter Expo, ICE Amsterdam, and is designed to give early-stage companies an entry into the maritime and charter industry.
Over the years we have grown a lot through ICE and the opportunities it gives, and we are pleased to announce that we will be the Official Innovation Partner at this year’s International Charter Expo 2026.
This supports our overall goal to support the whole charter industry for future challenges and help new companies to grow within this sector. Together we will work on solutions and new ideas that the whole industry will benefit from.
What Is International Charter Expo ICE?
International Charter Expo is the largest B2B yacht charter event in the world. Unlike other boat shows where the public walks the docks, ICE is purely a business to business event. There are no yachts on display and no charter guests as visitors. It exists for one reason: to put charter professionals in the same room so they can do deals, discuss problems, and build relationships.
The numbers speak for themselves. ICE attracts over 600 companies from more than 55 countries, with 1,500 industry decision makers attending each year. The event covers both bareboat and crewed charter sectors, bringing together fleet operators, central agents, charter brokers, yacht owners, and suppliers.
Why ICE Charter Expo in Amsterdam Is Different From Other Events
What makes ICE different from other B2B industry events is the Handshake matchmaking system. Attendees schedule meetings weeks before the expo starts, so every conversation is intentional. You’re not wandering a convention hall hoping to bump into the right person. You sit down with companies who already want to talk to you.
ICE started as the Croatian National Charter Expo and grew into the biggest dedicated B2B yacht charter event on the planet. It’s now organized by Yachtmaster Group and held annually in Amsterdam.
Who Should Apply for the Start-Up Corner?
If you’re building a product or service for the maritime industry, this is your opportunity to get in front of charter companies, booking platforms, and industry suppliers. The International Charter Expo 2026 and Floatist Start-Up Corner is open to companies working in charter technology, vessel sustainability, boat equipment, crew solutions, and related fields.
Currently, there are eight spots available, and pricing is designed for early stage companies so they can test the market without overcommitting.
